Health and the Urban Indian: An Interview with Ralph Forquera

The Seattle Indian Health Board, which attends
to the health needs of urban Indians and other low-income populations in King County, has been an
institution in Seattle for more than three decades. SIHB Director Ralph Forquera, one of the nation's
leading advocates on urban Indian health issues, discusses the challenges and concerns of Indians who
relocate to urban environments like Seattle. He spoke with Tribal Connections editor Miles White.
