  • California Nations Indian Gaming Association
    Dedicated to protecting Indian gaming on Federal lands by recognized tribal governments and to promoting the general welfare and interests of Indian tribes.


  • Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL)
    A Quaker public interest lobby that sponsors a Native American Program and advocates for recognition of treaty rights, the fulfillment of federal trust responsibilities and self-determination for Native American communities.


  • Heritage Preservation Services
    Funding under the Tribal Preservation Program helps American Indian and Alaska Natives preserve and protect their resources, traditions and community preservation programs.


  • Inter Tribal Council of Arizona
    An advocacy group for member tribes to address matters of collective concern in Arizona, and to promote tribal sovereignty and strengthen tribal governments.


  • National Alaska Native American Indian Nurses Association
    Formerly the American Indian Nurses Association, this organization strives to serve the professional needs of Alaska Native/American Indian nurses, improve the quality of healthcare for American Indians and Alaska Natives consumers and enhance equal access to educational opportunities in nursing for American Indians and Alaska Natives.

  • National Congress of American Indians
    The National Congress of American Indians is the oldest and largest tribal government organization in the US. It seeks to inform the public and federal government on tribal self-government, treaty rights and federal policy issues affecting American Indians.


  • National Indian Council on Aging
    An advocacy and support group providing improved, comprehensive services for American Indian and Alaska Native elders through advocacy, employment training, dissemination of information and data support.


  • National Indian Gaming Association
    A non-profit organization of 168 Indian nations which acts as a clearinghouse on Indian gaming issues and tribal community development. It seeks to protect and preserve the welfare of tribes seeking self-sufficiency through gaming.


  • National Indian Health Board National Indian Health Board
    This non-profit organization represents Tribal governments operating their own health care systems and those receiving direct care from I.H.S. Research, policy analysis, program assessment and development are some of the services provided to tribes, Area Health Boards, tribal organizations, federal agencies and private foundations.


  • National Indian Women's Health Resource Center
    Works to establish a national Indian women's health network that promotes advocacy, education, policy, development, appropriate research and healthy lifestyle behaviors for American Indian and Alaska Native women.

    A non-profit organization which provides free civil legal services to low-income people throughout the state of Washington. Links to sites relevant to Native Americans is included.


  • Older Indians  
    Older Indians is a website developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that is dedicated to providing information regarding federal Title VI programs. Congress created Title VI Grants for Indian Tribal Organizations in 1978 to promote the delivery of supportive and nutrition services to American Indian and Alaska Native elders. The website provides information for Title VI directors and a state-by-state listing of all eligible Title VI tribal programs with contact information.


  • Telling the Stories  
    Developed by the New Mexico State Library Tribal Libraries Program, this website is intended to contribute to the preservation of New Mexico's diverse Native American languages and cultures by providing links to resources, tools, and educational information. The website also provides information about resources available through the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs and other state government agencies.


  • Tribal Resources from the US Government
    Federal web site with links to information on jobs, education, economic development, health care, housing, land, legislative, legal and cultural resources.
