  • Cradleboard Teaching Project
    A live and interactive site that teaches youth about Native American Culture. It is a project of the Nihewan Foundation for American Indian Education.


  • Navigating the Web: Using Search Tools and Evaluating Resources
    A primer on how to use the Internet to find and evaluate information and resources


  • MedlinePlus
    Site features health information including interactive health education tutorials using animated graphics that explain procedures or medical conditions in easy to read language with audio component.

  • PubMed
    Site contains “PubMed Tutorial,” a web-based learning program on how to use the National Library of Medicine (NLM) journal literature search system.

General Information

  • If I Can Read, I Can Do Anything
    This is a reading promotion program for schools on reservations. A program has been developed that includes promotional and activity materials, reading contests, grant and scholarship information and more.


  • Nihewan Foundation for Native American Education
    A private, non-profit foundation dedicated to improving the education of and about Native American people and cultures; serves interested people of all backgrounds.
